Organic Lawn Care Workshop – 6/14

Aimee Petras, Programs Director at FRWA and Master Gardener, will present the Organic Lawn Care program that covers how to manage your lawn without using chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Natural lawn care makes for a healthier outdoor space – for yourself, your neighborhood, and the wildlife. We will outline the steps you need to take including getting a soil test through mowing techniques to managing common weeds.  As we spend more time in our backyards, it is important to avoid using chemical fertilizers and pesticides which can harm wildlife, impair water quality, and put your family at risk.
