Volunteers Needed for Barberry Removal at Fisher Meadows 8/13
Join FRWA, Avon Recreation and Parks, Avon Land Trust, and ECSU Botanist Dr. Bryan Connolly at Fisher Meadows Trailhead on Thursday August 13th at 3:00 PM to combat Japanese Barberry in the park.
We will meet at the Fisher Meadows Trailhead in Avon CT! (Put “Fisher Meadows Trailhead” into GOOGLE MAPS. Apple Maps will bring you to a different location!) Tools and gloves will be provided.
** Long pants and long-sleeved shirts are highly recommended, as Barberry has sharp thorns!**
